In 2002, Dr. Miller opened Advanced Dental Concepts in Roseville, CA. Since then, he has helped countless patients in the area with some of the best dental care available for them and their families. As times changed, so did our dental office. One thing, however, has never changed — our commitment to you.
Our Roseville dental office has been updated over the years to include some of the latest advances in dental technology. Our screening devices can detect signs of oral cancer in your mouth that normally would not be visible. DIAGNOdent can spot cavities in your enamel too small for the naked eye to see. With our own CEREC system, your teeth are digitally measured to create perfect-fitting crowns the same day as your visit. PerioLase uses a laser to treat problems with your gums. You can even get TMJ pain diagnosed with the revolutionary K7 System.
All of the shiniest tools in the world won’t help unless a doctor has the training to use them properly. That’s why Dr. David Miller has taken more than 5,400 hours of continuing dental education. He lectures about dentistry both nationally and internationally. He is also one of only 24 people in the world to hold mastership from the Las Vegas Institute. He can help treat sleep apnea as well. But he and his team still offer the basics, such as professional teeth cleanings and thorough exams. This way, we can be as conservative as possible.
We offer orthodontic services here at our office. We do traditional braces, including more cosmetic types where the brackets are porcelain and they're tooth colored and we use kind of white wires. We also offer Invisalign and other Invisalign types of products. Invisalign tends to prefer to do full mouth cases as a company, so we also use a couple of techniques, Simpli5 and there's several companies that will do minor tooth movements where instead of going through full braces, patients just want to correct oh, maybe some lower teeth have shifted a little bit in the front and they want to straighten those back up. We have very affordable short-term orthodontic solutions for those too. Anywhere from full orthodontic cases to simple minor tooth movement cases are available at my office.
I got into doing orthodontics many years ago because I would have patients who were TMJ patients and we wanted to have an orthodontic finish. They'd be wearing a dental splint to hold their bite in the right position and I tell the orthodontist that I needed the case finished so you need to move the teeth in to take the position of the splint so that we have the bite in a certain place. The first thing they do is put wires everywhere and throw away the splint. The next thing you know the patient would be back in my office going, "Well, why don't you do this for me?" So I had to learn to do orthodontics. We can evaluate cases as I've said before. Oftentimes we worked with local specialists. Some things are better done in the orthodontist's office. Some things are pretty straightforward and we do them here. We provide a wide variety of choices for our patients who want to get their teeth straightened.
Dr. Miller has the training and experience to know how dental treatments can affect your whole body. That’s why he takes a holistic and comprehensive approach to dental care. When you come in for your exam, we will do much more than take a look at your teeth. We have metal-free treatments to restore your teeth. We are latex-free and offer fluoride-free options, since both can cause reactions in otherwise healthy patients. You can choose from a wide range of treatments, including cosmetic care, restorative treatments, and more.
